HOME AUTOMATION

What do you wish to automate?

We turn a house into a home that responds to you — lighting, climate, security, entertainment and more, brought together under one intelligent system and one simple app. Complex made simple.

01 · LIGHTING, SHADING & COMFORT

Light, set to the moment.

Full control of lights, shutters and curtains — from smart switches and premium keypads to the traditional switches you already have. One tap sets the scene: wake-up light, movie mode, away mode.

02 · PREMIUM CONTROL · KNX & ITALIAN DESIGN

Bespoke control, by design.

For homes where the switch on the wall matters as much as the light it controls — architectural-grade systems, finished to your interior in our design studio. Customizable keypads and switches in glass, metal and technopolymer, engraved to your rooms.

03 · CLIMATE, WATER & SAFETY

A home that protects itself.

Set-and-forget climate control, plus leaks caught early: automatic shut-off for gas and water pipes, with alerts on your phone wherever you are. Lower energy bills, and damage stopped before it spreads.

04 · NETWORKS, MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT

The backbone behind everything.

A rock-solid network is what makes everything else just work — we design and deliver it, then build the media, audio and gaming layer on top.

05 · SECURITY & ACCESS

Who's at the door? You always know.

Cameras, locks and entry unified — so access is something you grant, watch and trust from anywhere.

06 · EVERYDAY LIVING & OUTDOORS

The chores that do themselves.

Automation isn't only screens and security. It's the small, repetitive things quietly handled — so the home gives time back instead of taking it.

07 · CENTRALIZED CONTROL

One hub, or many — your call.

We centralize every element of your smart home into the platform you already love — a single preferred hub, or several working together. Touch a screen, say a word, or let the home decide.

FAQ

Questions about going smart.

What is KNX?

KNX is the international standard for wired building automation — used for premium, architectural-grade lighting, climate and blind control. GEEK installs KNX systems including Ekinex keypads, custom-finished to match each interior.

What is Matter, and why does it matter for a smart home?

Matter is a universal smart-home standard that lets devices from different brands work together regardless of ecosystem. GEEK builds on Matter alongside Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Home Assistant so a home isn't locked to one platform.

Can I start small and expand my smart home later?

Yes. Most GEEK installations start with one room or one system — lighting or AC control, for example — and expand category by category over time, all unified into the same app as they're added.

Do I need to rewire my home for automation?

Not necessarily. GEEK can retrofit control onto existing traditional switches and AC units, or install new smart hardware where it makes sense — the right approach depends on the home and is decided during the initial consultation.

Do you prefer to work before or after finishing?

Neither — we can enter at any phase. Whether your home is still under construction or already fully finished, we offer both wired and wireless solutions that fit every need, so automation can be added at the right time for your project without tearing up a completed space.

Should I choose wired or wireless home automation?

We do both. Because GEEK is brand-agnostic, we design with wired systems such as KNX and wireless systems side by side, and choose whichever fits each room, budget and stage of construction best — you are never pushed toward one simply because it is all we offer.

Which platforms & protocols do you support? (Sonoff, Tuya, KNX, SmartThings…)

We're brand-agnostic, so we design across all the major platforms and protocols and unify them into one app — never locking you to a single brand:

  • Wi-Fi ecosystems — Sonoff / eWeLink, Tuya / Smart Life (the same ecosystem), Samsung SmartThings, LG ThinQ and Google Home.
  • Professional wired — KNX and Philips Dynalite, for architectural-grade lighting and control.
  • Hub & integration layer — Home Assistant, a local-first platform that ties mixed brands together.

If you already own devices on any of these, we usually integrate them rather than replace them.

What's the difference between wired, wireless, Zigbee and Matter?

They're different layers, not competitors:

  • Wired (KNX, Philips Dynalite) — control runs over dedicated cabling built into the home. The most reliable and durable option, best decided during construction; the choice for premium projects.
  • Wireless (Wi-Fi) — devices talk over your home network. Easy to add anytime and ideal for finished homes, but it leans on a strong, well-designed network.
  • Zigbee — a low-power wireless mesh: devices relay for each other, so coverage grows as you add them without congesting Wi-Fi. Needs a small hub; powers many sensors, bulbs and switches.
  • Matter — not wired-vs-wireless at all, but a universal standard that lets different brands work together across Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings — keeping your system interoperable and future-proof.

In practice we mix all of these per room and budget — the advantage of being brand-agnostic.
